They are advertising a clean engine bay, but they won’t take the time to fix the CEL? At least take the pictures with the engine off so nobody knows.

It’s likely in ACC mode not throwing a code.

I would wager they have it turned to accessory with illuminates the CEL. But maybe you're right as I don't see the battery light?

I never noticed before and maybe it’s kinja formatting things but the rear wheelwell seems too far forward.

Acc doesn’t do the dash lights or gauges but key through to On, without engine running does
. With that being said,
if the engine isn’t running usually you have both CE
and Oil Pressure
lights,
so he may be right.

Fu nny how a 17 year old sparsely optioned truck with almost 170K on it listed at nearly 8 grand seems almost suspiciously cheap.

Well I would give up and buy a Ranger, but you've seen the premium on a good 4.0 4x4 on those...

It really makes it look like a toy car, especially on this one :

Those were a Toyota joint venture, I think.

It’s probably the gas cap then.

Mazda joint venture and Ford did most/all the work. Mazda rebadged it.

I was joking, high prices = Toyota Tax :)
